Heritage Week is an opportunity to celebrate our shared heritage – natural and cultural, tangible and intangible. This year – the 150th anniversary of Confederation – is a special moment in our history and a great opportunity for us to explore Ontario’s diverse cultural traditions and imagine our shared future.
During this year’s Heritage Week, we will be launching the Trust’s Ontario 150 project: MyOntario – A vision over time. This provincewide sesquicentennial initiative will help transform how we think about Ontario’s heritage with the goal of continuing to build a rich legacy for subsequent generations.
Let’s celebrate Heritage Week by showcasing our diversity, sharing our stories and creating a record of Ontario at 150 – a record that reflects the breadth, depth and complexity of our great province as we look to the future.
Join the conversation, discover who we are and contribute to MyOntario!
The Trust is organizing events at some of its own sites during Heritage Week.
Communities across Ontario will celebrate Heritage Week with their own special events and activities – ranging from exhibits, lectures and workshops to informal gatherings and tours.
