Rescued by the Ontario Heritage Trust and restored to its original grandeur, the Centre is the last operating double-decker theatre in the world. It is a superb venue for the performing arts – from stage plays to musicals to opera. One of the great surprises during the restoration was the discovery of the world's largest collection of vaudeville scenery – hand-painted cloth flats and drops dating from 1913-18. Much work remains to return pieces of this unique collection to their place in Canada's cultural history. Your pledge can help sustain this much-loved landmark.
