Tommy Burns
A natural athlete with exceptional muscle coordination, Noah Brusso was born near Hanover in 1881. He became a professional boxer under the ring name Tommy Burns, and in 1906 became the first Canadian to win the heavyweight championship of the world. He died in 1955. -
