In addition to the rooms themselves, your event may need additional services – all of which we can provide.

Beverage service:

Coffee, tea, juice, water and pop are available at a rate of $7.96 per person (for a full-day meeting) or $5.65 per person (for a half-day meeting). Please confirm with your Event Coordinator no later than 48 hours before the event the number of attendees requiring beverages. Note: This beverage service is available for corporate meetings only at the Ontario Heritage Centre and George Brown House.

Liquor service:

You may bring your own alcohol, but you are required to obtain a Special Occasion Permit from the LCBO whenever alcohol is served. Our Event Coordinator will direct you to the local permit office. Please allow at least two weeks prior to the event for processing the permit. Your caterer will also be pleased to assist you with these services, if you wish. A soft bar will be provided by the caterer. Servers must be SmartServe trained – also arranged through the caterer.

Audio-visual equipment:

Audio-visual equipment is available at a nominal charge. Please check availability for each venue and verify costs with your Event Coordinator. Additional equipment can be rented through our preferred suppliers. Clients are also welcome to use their own equipment. Our in-house audio-visual equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis, as follows:

  • Flip chart
  • Screen
  • TV/VCR
  • Teleconference telephone system with microphones
  • Podium
  • Overhead projector
  • Tape/CD player
  • Internet services – available at the Ontario Heritage Centre and Enoch Turner Schoolhouse only
