Duncombe's Uprising 1837

A strong supporter of the militant reform movement, Dr. Charles Duncombe rallied local Patriot troops at the community of Scotland in December 1837. He planned to join forces with William Lyon Mackenzie, but the latter's defeat at Montgomery's Tavern forced Duncombe to flee to the United States.
