The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre teams up with TO Live for ticketing services
The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre (EWG) is pleased to announce that TO Live, in partnership with Ticketmaster, is the new ticketing and box office service provider for the EWG. This contract was awarded following a competitive procurement process.
Ticketing software and services for EWG productions and events will be provided by Ticketmaster and administrated by TO Live – including online, mobile, telephone and in-person patron service capacities. Producers working with the EWG will also have access to TO Live’s marketing expertise on a fee-for-service arrangement.
“TO Live, in bidding on our ticketing services, offered partnership opportunities that built on our core ticketing needs,” said Janet Gates, Director and General Manager, Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre. “Collectively marketing shows and events across four public venues and nine different stages is powerful, given the diversity of programming that this represents and the opportunities for package and subscription creation.”
“We are very excited to be working with the Elgin Winter Garden and to serve the patrons of this wonderful historical cultural institution,” said Clyde Wager, President and CEO, TO Live. “Our combined marketing efforts will not only benefit both our organizations and our patrons, but the many other arts organizations that work with TO Live. Together, we’re able to play an important role in lifting up the arts and culture sector in Toronto.”
TO Live’s management team will work with EWG clients to ensure that their ticketing needs are met and will help make the most of their ticket sales opportunities. As theatres move to reopen, TO Live will also manage and staff the EWG’s box office for day-of-show patron ticketing needs and will supply call-centre services from Monday to Friday, 1 to 6 p.m. In addition, the Ticketmaster call centre will be available seven days a week.
