Latecomers:

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance and only at the discretion of management.

Accessibility:

Accessible seating is located in the orchestra levels only of both the Elgin and the Winter Garden Theatres. A limited number of transfer seats (i.e., seats with removable arms) are available in both theatres. Please note that transfer seats are of a standard width. Patrons who have special requirements may wish to call in advance (416-314-2872) to notify our staff of your needs. Physically challenged patrons should be aware that the location of mezzanine and balcony seating requires the climbing of stairs.

Refreshments/Bar service/Smoking:

Refreshments and bar service are available at various bars throughout the building. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Theatre Centre.

Gift shop and Concessions:

The gift shops are located in the lobbies of the Elgin and Winter Garden theatres. Gift items include magnets, key chains and a souvenir book. Concessions services are also available in the lobbies. Services include hearing enhancement units, binoculars and booster seats free of charge, plus a selection of sweets for purchase.

The gift shop and concessions are open 45 minutes before performances and during intermission.

Hearing enhancement system/recording devices:

The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre is equipped with an infrared hearing enhancement system. Please call 416-314-2872 if you are attending a show or event and require the assistance of a hearing device.

The use of cameras, recording equipment, radios or any playback device is not permitted in the theatres. Patrons are asked to ensure that watch alarms and/or cellphones are turned off during all performances.

First aid:

The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre is equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED) and oxygen tanks. Staff is trained in first aid.
