Heritage Fair 2023

Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

London Public Library, Central Branch

Heritage Fair kicks off Heritage Weekend London. To celebrate the rich histories of the London community's cultural heritage, this year's theme is London's Cultural History – A Journey to Inclusion.

At this year's fair, participating sites, museums, arts and cultural organizations have an opportunity to interact with visitors in person, and showcase how their organizations have evolved to incorporate diverse cultures through a series of interactive programming.

The fair explores cultural inclusivity in various ways: films, pop-up theatricals, cultural art and styling exhibits, dance and poetry performances. The event also features Indigenous storytelling, workshops about music that inspired social change, a speaker series introducing how London's local musicians overcame adversities and how theatre traditions have been reshaped, and visual arts workshops to learn about languages and cultures through artistic expressions.

Together, these activities and the people from each of these organizations will illustrate London's unique cultural mosaic. The community will also have the chance to reconnect with many aspects of their heritage in new and exciting ways!
