Fulford Place hosts 11th annual antique appraisal event

Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.

Have you ever wondered how much that vase sitting on your fireplace mantle is worth? Dust it off and bring it to Fulford Place’s 11th annual antique appraisal event with noted appraiser, Janet Carlile.

During the one-hour session, Carlile will appraise personal treasures with the exception of guns and sewing machines.

Carlile is an independent, accredited antiques appraiser with 30 years of experience appraising and advising on fine art and antiques for private, corporate and institutional clients in North America and Europe. Her clients include the Canadian Museum of History, Rideau Hall, Redpath Museum, the Embassy of the United States, the Embassy of Portugal and the University of Alberta. She is also a well-known author, university lecturer, television personality and public speaker.

Tickets are $15 and are on sale until April 23.

Only ticket holders are allowed in the session and one person must be able to carry the appraisal items. To reserve a space, or for more information, call Fulford Place at 613-498-3003.
