Buckthorn Removal Event
Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Help Ontario Nature restore native habitat at Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve. Common Buckthorn, a non-native invasive species, creates dense thickets in the forest and out-competes native species. To prevent its spread, come roll up your sleeves and help us remove this pesky invasive species!
Tickets: Free (register through Eventbrite) – Registration is limited!
Meet at the west entrance to the reserve, located immediately across from 18580 Dufferin Street (parking available).
Please bring a bagged lunch and refillable water bottle. Remember to wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Some gardening gloves will be provided, but please bring your own if you have them.
For more information, contact Kate Douglas at kated@ontarionature.org or by calling 1-800-440-2366, ext. 233.
