Developing your own local markers

Communities can develop their own markers to commemorate an individual, place, event or object of local heritage significance. Examples include: a local church, cemetery or heritage building; an individual who made an important contribution to the development or history of the community; a refurbished church organ; a long standing fall fair; or an original band shell.
