Enoch Turner Schoolhouse

Located in Toronto’s historical Corktown neighbourhood, the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse offers a unique setting for any meeting or special occasion. When you book the schoolhouse, you have exclusive use of all three rooms: the Salon, the Schoolroom and the West Hall. Built in the 1800s, the schoolhouse is the oldest school still standing in Toronto, and is equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning, wireless Internet, modern kitchen and washrooms, flip charts, projection screens, microphone, sound system, podiums and more. The schoolhouse is accessible with public parking and transit nearby.

Corporate meetings and events

The Enoch Turner Schoolhouse is a perfect spot for a meeting, retreat, workshop or seminar. Every booking has exclusive use of the schoolhouse and its three rooms: the Salon, the Schoolroom and the West Hall.

The schoolhouse can accommodate both the ceremony and reception. Ceremonies and receptions are held in the stunning West Hall. Ceremonies with fewer than 70 guests can host their ceremony in our schoolroom, if preferred.

Special occasion permits:

Alcohol can only be brought into the venue by acquiring a Special Occasion Permit. Glassware and bartenders will be provided by one of our preferred caterers. There is no corkage fee, but proof of insurance naming the Ontario Heritage Trust as additionally insured for $2 million is required.
