Join us as we delve into the life of George Brown – a Father of Confederation and the founder of The Globe newspaper (now the Globe and Mail). Learn about this complicated figure – an abolitionist, anti-union politician and newspaper owner murdered by a disgruntled employee – and his impacts on our city and our nation.

Note: This tour includes an interior visit of George Brown House, presented in partnership with the Ontario Heritage Trust.
