The Canadian Story: Refugees, Immigrants and Black History

To celebrate Black History Month, join The Griffin House for an informative and interesting talk by Leo Nupolu Johnson, founder and director of Empowerment Squared. Leo recounts his journey of survival as a child during the Liberian civil war, where he was in refugee camps for over eight years, to his eventual resettlement in Canada. His outstanding achievements in service to humanity continue to inspire and empower thousands around the world. Free admission!
