Lieutenant-Colonel James Rogers 1726-1790

A veteran of the Seven Years War and the American Revolution, in 1784 Rogers led a party of some 300 disbanded King's Rangers and their families to the Bay of Quinte where they were granted land in Fredericksburgh Township.
