Historical cooking on Macaulay’s Hearth

Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 1 p.m.

Part of the Flashback February series

Nancy Woods cooking at Macaulay Heritage Park

Nancy Woods, long-time volunteer at Macaulay Heritage Park, will use the historical hearth at Macaulay House to demonstrate 19th-century cooking methods – specifically those using cast iron cookware. Woods will showcase a number of recipes, and ticket holders will be able to sample the finished products – as your ticket includes a tasting package delivered to your door!

Participants will also receive a collection of heritage recipes to try out at home.

This will be a pre-recorded presentation, though Woods will be on hand during the Zoom event to answer questions.

For those who select the “Presentation and Tasting package” option, samples of Woods’s recipes and a collection of heritage recipes will be delivered to you on the day of the presentation (you must reside within the Quinte region).

Buy your tickets ($18 and $25) today!

A Zoom link will be sent to participants within 24 hours of the presentation.
