Champlain's Legacy - Official closing of the commemoration of 400 years of French presence in Ontario

Come to this FREE event for people of all ages, offering a series of fun and educational activities commemorating Champlain’s legacy from a variety of perspectives.

  • 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Youth and family programming, including hands-on activities, Franco-Ontarian and Indigenous demonstrations and musical performances
  • 10:30 a.m. – Unveiling of provincial plaques to Champlain in Ontario, 1615 and the opening of the Legacy Walkway
  • 12:30 p.m. – Free lunch!
