Tenisha Noel

Tenisha Noel works with several Southwestern Ontario-based organizations that connect Black youth with their heritage by sharing stories through workshops, events and mentorship programs. Her outreach and program development for Afrika Outbound have connected youth in underserved neighbourhoods to the stories of Ontario’s African-Canadian communities and the Underground Railroad. As founder of “Cultivating Tomorrow’s Leaders” and co-founder of “The DuoVida Foundation,” Tenisha equips young people to see themselves as both inheritors and architects of Ontario’s evolving cultural legacy. Tenisha is pursuing a Master of Law degree at Osgoode Hall, focusing on how lived experiences and geography intersect with identity, memory and social justice.
