Rescued by the Ontario Heritage Trust and restored to its original grandeur, the Elgin & Winter Garden Theatres are the last operating double-decker theatres in the world. It is a superb venue for the performing arts — from stage plays to musicals to opera.
In order to continue to preserve and protect this much-loved landmark and maintain the venue as a vibrant cultural hub, the Trust depends on support from government, corporations, foundations and individual donors. Current needs include: support for ongoing capital restoration, programming celebrating the history of the Theatres and live performances programming for youth and children.
